An admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland

Published · Updated

Admitted as a legal practitioner

One of our team was admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2020.

Admission is the point at which a law graduate becomes a lawyer. It follows a law degree, practical legal training and an application to the court, and it is the step that allows a person to hold a practising certificate and act for clients.

Doing it in 2020 meant doing it through a year of court closures, remote hearings and a profession that was working out how to operate week by week. Congratulations from everyone at the firm.
