Yasmin Elabbasi
Yasmin Elabbasi is a law clerk at TWC Lawyers and is not yet admitted as a solicitor. She works part time with the team while completing a Bachelor of Laws full time at Southern Cross University, and assists the criminal and family law solicitors across the life of a file.

Yasmin is a full time student at Southern Cross University studying a Bachelor of Laws, and works part time as a law clerk while completing her studies. Her goal is admission as a solicitor.
She is not an admitted solicitor, so she does not advise clients on their matters. Legal advice at TWC Lawyers comes from an admitted solicitor, and clerks work under supervision.
What she does on your file
Yasmin works with the solicitors on criminal law and family law matters, supporting them with the administrative and preparatory work that keeps a matter on schedule: file setup, document preparation, correspondence, and following up material that has been requested and not yet arrived.
Outside work she plays first division women’s rugby league with the Tweed Seagulls, and manages training around full time study and part time work.
