Gabby King and Yasmin Elabbasi recognised in the Courier-Mail

Gabby King
Gabby has been with TWC Lawyers for around four years. She started in legal aid matters and now works predominantly on private work with some legal aid, because she is committed to keeping that part of the practice going.
Her practice is mainly criminal law, and she has had carriage of several matters that attracted significant public attention.
During her studies she worked with the Griffith Innocence Project at Griffith University, and she has continued that involvement, acting pro bono on a matter considering the prospects of a further appeal to the Court of Appeal on the basis of fresh evidence.

Yasmin Elabbasi
Yasmin is a paralegal with TWC Lawyers and is a year away from completing her law degree at Southern Cross University.
Her role involves assisting across a range of matters and preparing briefs. She also appears in court on mentions, and as a paralegal she does not conduct sentences or give advice.
Away from the office, Yasmin plays and trains with the Tweed Seagulls on the pathway to the Gold Coast Titans NRLW squad.
