The appointment
Samuel is an experienced criminal defence lawyer who has acted for clients from a wide range of backgrounds.
He assesses a case critically and works out where the prosecution is weakest, then builds the evidence to test it. That has resulted in charges being downgraded and, in some matters, withdrawn.
He has appeared in the Local, District and Supreme Courts in New South Wales and Queensland, in matters including assault, drug possession and supply, mental health applications, sexual offences, stealing, drink driving, domestic violence, traffic charges and weapons offences.
Samuel was later promoted to partner. You can read more on his profile page.
Last reviewed 3 August 2026 by the TWC Lawyers team. Queensland penalty units and court fees are indexed on 1 July each year. Check current figures before you rely on them, or ask us.
